Falkensteiner collects 14.6 million Euros

The Falkensteiner Michaeler Tourism Group (FMTG) was able to raise 6.6 million euros in capital through its own digital investment platform FMTG Invest during its latest crowd campaign, which ended in December. This brings the total amount generated through the Falkensteiner Crowd since June 2022 to 14.6 million euros, according to the South Tyrol tourism group. The funding capital from both financing rounds in 2022 was used to finance measures within the company-wide sustainability strategy, such as the introduction of a Falkensteiner “Green Rate” and the implementation of a group-wide energy monitoring. In the newly opened Falkensteiner Hotel in Montafon, which already belongs to the “Leading Hotels of the World” and is dedicated to renewable energy and nature conservation, measures to reduce the CO2 footprint were also supported with a portion of the capital. The capital from the last campaign will be used for the further implementation of the sustainability strategy and project development in Italy, according to the FMTG. Since 2016, the FMTG has offered investment opportunities in future-oriented infrastructure solutions in tourism and has convinced many investors. “In our now 9 funding campaigns, we have raised a total of 41 million euros in capital, and we have already repaid the first two financing rounds of 4.96 million euros on time,” says Otmar Michaeler, CEO of the FMTG.
