FMTG – Falkensteiner Michaeler Tourism Group is one of the leading privately owned tourism companies in seven European countries. Under its umbrella it unites the divisions Falkensteiner Hotels & Residences with currently 27 four- and five-star hotels, 3 apartment complexes and two premium campsites, FMTG Development, FMTG Invest and the tourism consultant Michaeler & Partner.

FMTG Services

FMTG Services comprises three hotel management companies in Austria, Italy and Croatia that hold the operating contracts with the hotels, residences and camping resorts. It covers all operational activities of the hotels, flat residences and currently also camping resorts. Furthermore, it comprises all management and support functions for the group (e.g. accounting & controlling, brand strategy, marketing & sales, reservations, revenue management, quality management, IT, procurement, etc.) and manages hotel operations under the Falkensteiner Hotels & Residences brand or as a private label. Another task of Services is the management of hotel operations in its own name and on behalf of third parties by means of management contracts or lease agreements. For this, it charges a service and management fee that depends on the annual turnover development (7-12%).

Marketing is based on the 4 travel motifs: Enjoyment, Deceleration, Entertainment and Active. Falkensteiner Hotels & Residences are represented in 7 countries: Austria, Italy, Croatia, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Serbia and Slovenia. With Falkensteiner Premium Living, FMTG has developed a real estate project which extends beyond innovative architecture, luxurious furnishings, investment security and premium locations and adds a new dimension to the motto “There’s no place like home”. Michaeler & Partner

The consulting company Michaeler & Partner offers internal and external consulting services for the construction, refurbishment, design and operation of tourism properties. This business unit of FMTG is divided into three business areas: Project Development, Construction Management and Management Consulting. This includes strategic consulting and support for investors, banks, tourism destinations, etc. as well as comprehensive services for the development of tourism projects. More than 300 realised international projects in the private hotel industry as well as for institutions confirm the company’s extensive experience in the sector.

FMTG Invest

FMTG has been successfully pursuing a crowd investment strategy since 2017. The next step followed in June 2022 with the founding of FMTG Invest. The company’s own digital investment platform enables simple, direct and digital investments in the hospitality industry.

Premium Camping by Falkensteiner

FMTG’s newest business unit was launched in 2022 and combines the vacation needs of being close to nature and comfort to create an exclusive glamping experience. The portfolio currently comprises medium-sized and large camping units in premium infrastructure with a focus on a high-quality food & beverages concept and a wide range of activities for children. There is a choice of mobile homes in various sizes as well as premium pitches for motorhomes, caravans and campervans. Falkensteiner Premium Camping Zadar is the pilot project for this business segment, which will be followed by further projects.
