We think hotel industry in a new way and are constantly developing.

  • We are currently expanding our Premium Camping concept and realising new Premium Living by Falkensteiner projects.
  • With our crowdinvest strategy, we have found an innovative form of financing to further develop our brand and at the same time to bind our guests to the company.
  • As a premium hotel group, we pay attention to the highest quality at all levels.
  • For us, this also includes dealing with nature in a way that conserves resources as much as possible. We promote the circular economy by relying on regional products from F&B to cosmetics in the rooms.
  • We pay attention to sustainable construction methods in new projects and promote climate-friendly travel with compensation payments, among other things.
  • We want to implement sustainability in all areas of FMTG and work with various partners to achieve this goal.

From a small guesthouse to an international Hotelgroup

Maria and Josef Falkensteiner open a guesthouse in Ehrenburg, South Tyrol.

The brothers Andreas and Erich Falkensteiner take over the company.

Foundation of the first incoming travel agency in South Tyrol: Falk Tours.

Foundation of Falkensteiner Hotel Management and Michaeler & Partner. Otmar Michaeler joins the company.

Market entry and the first hotel in South-Eastern Europe. (Island of Krk, Croatia)

All businesses are bundled under the FMTG brand. Market entry in Serbia and Slovakia. Construction starts on the Punta Skala project in Croatia.

The central office is relocated to Vienna.

Further hotel openings and management contracts follow in Austria, Slovakia and Croatia.
