Business Divisions

Falkensteiner Michaeler Tourism Group focuses on all areas of tourism development. This allows us to gain experience in all fields and to create synergies that put us and our customers one step ahead of the competition at all times.

The Group is split into three core business divisions: FMTG Services (Hotelmanagement), FMTG Development and Michaeler & Partner. This provides us with an internationally effective structure and thanks to our vertical integration of the value-creation chain, we are particularly effective as an all-round provider in the tourism industry.

• Falkensteiner Hotel Management (FTMG Services)
  This comprises the management, marketing and operational management of hotels, residences and tourist resorts. It includes Falkensteiner’s own hotels as well as management and lease operations.
  

• FMTG Development
  This division handles the development and realisation of tourism properties and resorts. Important facets of this include the selection and assessment of locations, the development of optimised utilisation options, project financing, project development, planning optimisation and project marketing. FMTG Development manages a development volume of over EUR 200 million and concentrates on three types of projects: city and holiday hotels; mixed-use holidays and resorts; and mixed-use hotels and commercial real estate.The sales team at FMTG Development concentrates on marketing and selling projects.

• Michaeler & Partner
  This business division is in charge of the development and realisation of new tourism projects (hotels, resorts, holiday properties, leisure infrastructure) on an international level, taking into consideration the latest trends and market developments to create exciting projects for our customers that help them achieve success. The team stands out thanks to its holistic approach, forward-looking strategies and constant professional and personal development. Its shared success is based mainly on trust and complete discretion.

• FMTG Others
  FMTG Others covers the development of the Group strategy as well as Finance, an area that includes Treasury, Group Reporting and Financial Accounting for the entire Group. Marketing and Human Resources are also associated with this division.
